About us

Störi Mantel, s.r.o. has been a player in the woodworking machinery market for more than 27 years. However, its beginnings date even further back. In 1947, Mr Fritz Störi founded a company called Störi Ent.Co. The Swiss company initially manufactured electric and heating technology, heat pumps, and control systems for industrial companies. The company eventually expanded its production activities by producing woodworking machinery, which it has manufactured in the Czech Republic since 1995.

From the very beginning at our production plant in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, we focused on manufacturing rip saws with floating aggregate - today´s single blade ripsaws. We are currently one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of this technology in Europe.

Continuous development coupled with precise design and production and the quality of the products themselves has enabled us to develop new machines and equipment, not only for the woodworking industry.

We have gradually expanded the portfolio of machines we manufacture to include model series of cross-cut saw blades and optimising cross-cut saws with a loader, as well as offering pallet manufacturers comprehensive palletising technology for producing, processing and stacking pallets. The last recent new product from us so far is a vacuum manipulator, which allows our customers to expand their mechanisation when handling the material.

In that time we have produced more than 2 800 machines, which we have sold in the Czech Republic, Europe and in other parts of the world. Our own design department

Professional service

We have our own professional service department. Our technicians have been working for us for more than 10 years and possess all the skills needed to operate all our machines. They speak English, German, Polish and Russian.
